This project involved a complete knockdown of the existing dwelling and the re-build of a new two-storey dwelling with additional basement level garage/carpark. Built on a small block, this incredible building footprint reflects both contemporary and functional design elements. The project involved extensive excavation, installation of piers, rammed earth, construction of custom spa, spa seat, shed and landscaping. Internally, the build included the installation of custom joinery, kitchen, bathrooms, gas fireplace, custom oval skylight and more. Various finishes were applied internally including venetian plaster, thoughtful lighting throughout and Scarpa Carrara marble mosaic floor tiles to provide both a dramatic yet functional entry that invites you towards the staircase and beyond.
